Convivium is an international association of students and scholars who wish to protect and promote the unique mission of the university, in particular the open, honest, and rigorous pursuit of truth, as an intrinsically valuable dimension of the life of human persons and communities... We believe these trends and their implications for the mission of the university demand serious reflection by university students, scholars, and administrators, and must be resisted by a concerted effort to recover and renew the truth seeking mission of the university.
