Brandi Fotheringham

Brandi Fotheringham has successfully established the following pattern throughout her life: "learn, earn, and serve." Beginning her schooling at Brigham Young University with a degree in Psychology, Brandi continued her learning at Salt Lake Community College with an advanced degree in Dental Hygiene. After establishing herself financially by working in the dental field for several years, she eventually leveraged her dental skills to serve those in need. Beginning with a non-profit organization called CHOICE Humanitarian, Brandi traveled to Central Mexico to provide dental care to the rural Mexican people. She followed up that service locally with projects to provide dental care to the homeless. Currently she focuses her efforts on young adults across her local community. Brandi and her husband Eric are the proud parents of four children and together they enjoy hiking, running, and reading.

Brittany Fotheringham

Brittany Fotheringham has spent a lifetime advocating for young children and teens. As a Division 1 college athlete, an Academic All American and a former full-time high school teacher and coach, she thrives on mixing academics and athletics to build adolescent self-worth. She and her husband are the parents of four children and they have recently expanded their home to a puppy named Booker! Brittany thrives on helping the underprivileged. She is always looking for ways to share what she has been blessed with to those who need it most. Brittany currently serves as the Secretary for the Reach Out Today board.

Eric Porter - Founder

Eric considers the biggest blessings of his life to be his wife Tiffany and 4 non-stop children. He brings to the board nearly 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and technology. Eric has always had a strong desire to give back to the community, especially where he can help have a meaningful impact on the lives of children.

Erin Harmsen

Erin Harmsen is passionate about the needs of children in our community. She has been volunteering and working in the public schools for two decades one-on-one with students, as a substitute teacher, with the PTA organization, and most recently as the Art Specialist for grades K-6 at Meadow Elementary in Lehi, Utah. Erin has experience as a care provider for children with special needs, recreational therapist and academic tutor. As a part of her academic tutoring business, Erin specialized in providing hands-on timing and sequencing training called Interactive Metronome that improves attention span, processing, memory, self-regulation and motor coordination to kids who are struggling in the classroom. Erin has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. Erin loves anything outdoors, Broadway musicals, cooking, traveling and spending time with her six teenagers and husband, Steve.

Haley Ormsby - Chairman

Haley Ormsby is Chair of the Board for Reach Out Today. She holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah and loved working in the mortgage industry before having children. She and her husband, Wayne, have three wonderful teenagers. Haley has lived all over the country while her husband was in school and training. "Bridging gaps has not only opened my eyes to the needs in the world, but the needs in our own community. Action. Change needs action." Haley enjoys singing, running, and listening to podcasts about finance and running in her free time.

Hayley Gorham

Hayley Gorham holds a B.S. in Statistics, emphasis in analytics, a minor in Business Management and a minor in Family Life from Brigham Young University. She has 4 years of administrative experience she brings to Reach Out Today. Hayley aims to make a difference in the community.

John Carter - Founder

Job Titles:

John is a devoted husband & father of 4 growing boys. He also owns and directs Western States Design and Build company. Despite life being busy he was inspired to take action and go the extra mile. He co-founded Reach Out Today with the hope to reach vulnerable children and youth.

Karen Maycock - Chairman

Karen Maycock is the Chair of the Reach Out Today Programs Committee. Karen has been fortunate to have many opportunities in life to serve others, both in formal and informal roles. She is organized and hardworking. Karen graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Health Promotion and Education. She works full-time and lives and loves life with her husband, Shane. In their free time they enjoy creating/hosting activities, like potato derbies and broom hockey. Karen enjoys cruises, snorkeling and she is a 'Friends' TV Show fan and trivia whiz,"PIVOT!"

Kerry Owen

Kerry is a wife and mother of 5 children. Kerry is known best for her charity work in New Zealand. She was recently awarded a 2019 Royal Honor by the Queen Elizabeth II for her services with children. Kerry's hope is to bring about positive changes to those in need wherever she is in the world!

Marian Anderson

Marian Anderson holds a M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and works as a pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in early intervention language development. She and her husband, Devin, have three fantastic children. After living in many places across the country, Marian learned that there are countless people in every community working hard to help those in need. She loves being a part of these community efforts in her desire to do good. In her free time, Marian enjoys reading, playing the piano, traveling, and eating chocolate chip cookies.

Micah Stepan

Micah Stepan currently serves as the Chair of the Public Engagement and Financing committee for Reach Out Today. Between caring for her husband and 7 children and work as a real estate agent for Realty ONE Group, Micah loves to help others wherever she can. Micah always says, she learned from her mother's tireless charitable example of what loving others (especially those in need) looks like.
