SOUR SISTERS

We are Sour Sister's Meyer Lemons grown in Aptos, California. Judy Crawford (JuJu of The JuJu Paradise) moved onto the land in 1979 and grew produce here for 34 years. She planted seventy five Meyer lemon trees that continue to produce the best lemons. She left us the land when she passed in 2014, and we are passionate about continuing her legacy of natural farming and caring for the earth. It was Judy's dream to sell the citrus, but she was never able to see it to fruition... Our lemons are simple. Besides pruning the trees, we do not do anything to them. No pesticides, no additives, just pure Santa Cruz sunshine and rain. We have approximately seventy trees that provide an abundance of citrus for us to sell... We provide lemons for sale at local farmers markets to fuel locals need for lemonade stands, lemon bars, and lemon drops all season long.
