CARINA CERAMICS

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, I got my BFA in graphic design from the University of Buenos Aires and an MFA from prestigious ArtCenter College of Design in LA. Then came 25 years in design and branding for tv, film and advertising in Los Angeles and New York City... A Buenos Aires native, I used to be a graphic designer in my previous life. Starting out in New York City, after graduating from my MFA at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA, I then moved back to Los Angeles and got established in graphic design and branding for broadcast tv and film... It all started at Glendale Community College in the Los Angeles area, with fantastic mentors like Mark Poore, Robert Kibler and Biliana Popova. Soon after, I set up a teeny studio in my Los Angeles home. I now work out of my home studio in Altea, Spain, where I split my time between my clay experiments and paddle-boarding in the Mediterranean - all the while praying for benevolence from the kiln gods
