FIVE PETAL CREATIONS

Whether it was my grandma's Christmas cookies, my mom's fantastic - or lopsided - birthday cakes, or my dad making ricotta cheesecake that one time, baking has always been a part of my life. For me, baked goods are all things warm and comforting. I've studied many subjects and travelled to many countries across the globe, and in all of my travels baking has been a part of my life. After receiving my BA in English Literature, I went to cooking school, completed programs for both cooking and baking. While living in my hometown of Los Angeles, my sister introduced me to the owners of The Village Bakery and Café. Working with Barbara and her team gave me experience and skills I use to this day. Fast forward several years to living in Canada studying Western Herbal Medicine. I met the person who would change my life forever.
