Stephanie Renner brings a unique perspective to serving her business and banking clients. She has spent a large portion of her career working as an in-house lawyer for businesses in turnaround mode and as a board member for non-profits undergoing substantial reorganization and change. She has worn many hats ranging from general counsel to head of human resources with a variety of roles in between. Having served as a trusted advisor to CEOs and corporate boards of directors, Ms. Renner has an intimate understanding of the challenges faced by business owners, board members, and executives. Ms. Renner is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and a member of the Kentucky and California (currently inactive) bars. Prior to moving in-house, she worked as a litigator at an AMLAW 100 firm, as well as a large regional firm in the SouthEast. As a resident of Louisville, Kentucky she is active in the community and has served on numerous non-profit boards and committees. She is a graduate of Leadership Lexington, Focus Louisville, and Leadership Louisville; and was a Business First Forty under 40 honoree as well as one of Business First's 2021 Enterprising Women.
