Highland specializes in facilities, infrastructure management, and utility consulting. The HFC modeling has been completed for numerous campuses, containing over 70 million gross square feet (gsf). The campuses have ranged from under 20 buildings to more than 150 buildings in size. Findings typically identify a need approaching 50 dollars per gsf with critical needs generally found to be in excess of 20 dollars per gsf. To illustrate: a campus of 3 million gsf will typically have a current replacement value of $600 million, needing to reinvest $150 million within a 10 year planning horizon, and will have a critical and immediate need of as much as $60 million. Our model predicts where this reinvestment is needed and gives the client a prioritized list of projects.
