SNIPES

Since its founding as a family history organization in 1979, over 700 individuals have joined Snipes Family of America, Inc. (SFA). We have been able to make and sustain effective social connections among those of us with an interest in Snipes family history. Using these relationships, we have organized to discover the connections to which we share a common interest, assembling and assimilating the vast puzzle of Snipes forebears that constitute our ancestry. We have pooled our information and organized our research to understand better just how we are connected to each other and those who went before. Although we have yet to firmly establish our connections across the Atlantic, we have created methods for documenting and sharing our progress. Computers and the internet have facilitated acquiring, organizing, and sharing information. Our support for each other, combined with these technologies, has created an enduring organization that provides services to members and non-members..
