SHOW HAUS - Key Persons
Carrie graduated with a B.S. in Fashion and Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
She started her career in retail management in Connecticut before relocating to New York City to manage the Designer Department for a major department store.
Desiring to delve deeper into high fashion, Carrie moved on to the wholesale side of the business with couture design houses Valentino and Escada. Using the knowledge she gained on the retail side, it was a smooth transition working with buyers to assemble a package for each store as well as the individual markets nationwide within those stores. Her eye for design, fit, and function with different fabrics and styles helped her to grow her accounts to a $70 million business with Escada. She collaborated with the houses to build collections specifically for the United States market as well as for her specific accounts; Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and boutique stores across North America, the Caribbean and Canada.
After 10 years, Carrie left the New York fashion world to focus on raising her 2 daughters and eventually moved with her husband, girls, and golden retriever to Encinitas.
Her love for design, texture, color, and overall aesthetic has led to ShowHaus. Her unique combination of business and individualized design knowledge help her create stylish, comfortable homes that any buyer can envision themselves living in.
Sarah received her BA Hons in Interior Design from prestigious design school Ravensbourne University London.
Her first design role was creating interiors for model homes and staging for large developers in London and across the south east of the UK. It was fast paced and fun creating and selling a home's lifestyle whether it be a starter home, penthouse apartment or family home.
