INDUSTRIAL WASHERS - Key Persons

J. CHRIS LANGMACK

Job Titles:
  • DIRECTOR NIAGARA SYSTEMS LLC
  • Director of Niagara Systems
When Langmack's family bought Niagara Bottle Washer Mfg. Co. in 1971, he was impressed by the company's global market reach obtained through just one product. With degrees in business and finance from Case Western Reserve University, he was determined to take full advantage of Niagara's extensive international presence. Langmack worked with his two brothers, Chuck and Clark, to expand the company's product line from just one small beverage bottle washer to also include a system for large soft drink and brewery bottles. Soon every major brewery in North and South America, as well as some in Europe and Asia, had a Niagara system. Langmack and his family continued to expand the washer product line and changed the company's name to Niagara Custombilt Mfg. Co. He enjoyed the opportunity to share the company's fast, knowledgeable service as Niagara's client base grew to customers in 40 countries on nearly every continent. When Niagara reached a point where it needed more capital for its explosive growth, Langmack was ready to lead the company through advancement and change. He oversaw the merger with South Shore Controls in 2013, welcoming the opportunity to partner with a world-class industrial automation company and take Niagara to the next level. As director of Niagara Systems, Langmack looks forward to contributing to the partnership as it moves into another exciting phase of development. But as a lifelong Clevelander, Langmack also sees the importance of giving back to the community which has provided so much for his career and company. Having once been president of the Cleveland World Trade Association, he currently serves as Honorary Royal Danish Consul for the state of Ohio and sits on the Northern Ohio District Export Council and board of the Northeast Ohio International Business Network.
