Sculpturer and lecturer at Makerere University, Edward Balaba is a lecturer of the 'East African Pottery' class as part of the Makerere Bezalel art academies exchange. Balaba is also the program coordinator at Makerere.
Eli holds a Bachelor's degree in education and a Master from "Netivot" Leadership and Social Change in the Jewish world and Israel program. Eli served as VP Development for the Israeli Volunteer Association (IVA) from 2004 until 2016. In 2016-2018 Eli served as the Executive Director of Brit Olam International Development, and co-director of Topaz Leading Social Innovations. Throughout his career Eli has been involved in programs in identity and leadership in Israeli society.
Elyakim Kislev is a faculty member at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, School of Public Policy and Government. Kislev worked at the Mandel Institute and was policy analyst and consultant for governments, municipalities, NGOs, and corporations, with over 12 years of experience in the field of policy analysis.
Attorney Gilad Wiener, Certified Advocate - L.L.B. Gilad did his internship with the Honorable Judge Miriam Naor - President of the Supreme Court in Jerusalem. He worked as an attorney in a leading commercial office. He is currently a Doctoral student at Bar-Ilan University. Gilad worked for the Israeli Institute for Democracy and is currently part of the Israeli Congress for Judaism and Democracy. He is an entrepreneur and social activist.
Nurith Goshen is Curator of Chalcolithic and Bronze Age Periods (ca. 4500-1200 BCE) in the Bronfman Archaeology Wing of the Israel Museum. She specializes in Bronze Age monumental architecture of the Aegean and the Levant, and in the relationship between society and material culture. Nurith has co-authored several articles concerning ancient material culture, such as textile production tools, Middle Bronze Age wall paintings, and monumental architecture, and has also participated in archaeological excavations in Israel and Crete.
Ofer Wormser, born in Meitar and lives in Tel Aviv, holds a BA in Sociology and Geography and an MA in Public Policy from Tel Aviv University. Has been active for more than ten years in positions related to the management and development of social programs in civil society. Among other things, he directed the civil service program for integration of youth at risk and people with disabilities. Currently Ofer runs a housing and community care program for young people with autism in central Israel.
is an interdisciplinary innovator in the field of international development with an emphasis on art practice and education as well as cross-cultural exchanges. She has been active in the fields of social entrepreneurship, art development and art education for the past 20 years. Tamar currently works on projects whose aim is to establish an international platform through the nexus of social practices, arts education and intercultural exchanges.
