Madaktari Africa is a US registered 501(C)3 not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation. We dedicate our time and energy toward the education and training of health care workers in sub-saharan Africa... Madaktari began implementing the "Train Forward" model by training an assistant medical officer in Haydom, Tanzania to become a neurosurgeon. Since then, Madaktari has become the NGO for cardiology training in sub-Saharan Africa... Created in 2006, Madaktari Africa, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, began its mission to improve health care through the training and education of local medical personnel. Our mission is to improve a country's medical autonomy by improving the availability and quality of local health care.
