GSOP was founded in 2002 by religious congregations, labor union members and community leaders in southern New Hampshire for the purpose of building the power necessary to create lasting social and economic justice in the region, primarily in south central New Hampshire... GSOP is proud to support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which has been signed by 192 nations, representing nearly all the peoples of the world... GSOP believes that every individual, whether black, brown, or white, who works full time deserves a fair wage. We also believe that quality childcare should be accessible and affordable to all families regardless of income. We organize parents and advocate for the expansion and permanence of the Child Tax Credit.
