UCCT

As well as the minibus, we also provide transport services using an all-wheel-drive hybrid estate car. This is used primarily for taking people to healthcare appointments - not only in Rothbury, but also in places like Newcastle, Wansbeck and Alnwick... UCCT gained charitable status in July 2004. We applied for funding and bought a minibus with money mostly from the Countryside Agency, with some from Rothbury Gold, Alnwick District Council and Northumberland County Council... We provide a minibus for community groups based in Upper Coquetdale and elsewhere in Northumberland. The service we provide to the community is an essential part of the Coquetdale transport scene.
