OLD MILL RESTAURANT

In December of 1985, two budding restaurant entrepreneurs came together with a vision- a new place for the people of the Wiregrass to get together and enjoy great food with equally great service at affordable prices. Settling on the foundation of serving steaks and fresh seafood straight from the Gulf, Bill Slavins and Bob Watson began the process of creating The Old Mill... Mr. Slavins comes from a background working his way up to restaurant management with the national chain Red Lobster and earning his degree from Florida State University's Hotel and Restaurant Administration School of Business, and Mr. Watson successfully opened, owned, and operated the locally famous steakhouse Conestoga in 1977. With their combined 20+ years of experience in pairing quality food with top notch service, the plan for The Old Mill was born.
