WALADO, Helen's childhood nickname, is a name that is thought to have magical powers and bring good luck. WALADO's vision is to spread JOY and HAPPINESS through unique, intimate designs on our everyday products... Helen Yau is an illustrator and designer. She received her illustration degree with honors from Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada. Helen had been educated in several different countries. Drawing from her multicultural experiences and backgrounds, Helen has developed a style that is fresh and distinct. Her work is infused with fascinating characters and stories. Her goal is to bring more color and joy to the world through her art.
