In 2018, Dr. Farouk Dey, the founding Vice Provost for Integrative Learning and Life Design, joined Johns Hopkins University to create and lead a division of 15 departments and centers that orchestrate programs and services that bridge curricular and experiential learning with personal ambitions and mentoring for all undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and alumni across the university's nine schools... Imagine Center is the physical manifestation of our philosophy of integrative learning and life design journeys at Johns Hopkins University. Regardless of their background or social capital and their dreams and aspirations, students can engage with one another, alums, employers, faculty, staff, and life design educators to create moments of inspiration and opportunities for meaningful experiential learning and mentoring, turning their curiosities into their most fantastic, audacious moves.
