Ahmed Ismail has served as the Chief Fiscal Officer for Health and Human Services, since 2021. He plans, organizes, and directs the approximate $250m+ budget and fiscal services for all agencies in HHS. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis on Corporate Finance from San Francisco State University.

Dr. Amit Rajparia has served as the Medical Director for Marin County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services since 2017. Dr. Rajparia provides direct patient care, oversees clinical quality of care, and leads a dedicated team of medical professionals throughout multiple county clinics, community-based teams, the county jail, Crisis Stabilization Unit and other affiliated programs. Dr. Rajparia is a board-certified psychiatrist. He completed a BA in Theology and medical school at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and psychiatry residency at Harvard School of Medicine's Cambridge Hospital program.

A Marin native, Dr. Matt Willis has been the County's Public Health Officer since 2013 and lives in San Anselmo with his wife and three children. Dr Willis calls on experience as a physician, an epidemiologist, and a member of this community to guide public health strategy for Marin. A champion for innovative and highly collaborative approaches, he co-founded the RxSafe Marin coalition to address the opioid epidemic locally. He has served in the US Public Health Service as Director of Primary Care on the Navajo Reservation and at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, where he conducted research and outbreak investigations in the U.S. and abroad. He holds a Medical Degree from Temple, and completed a Master's in Public Health and Internal Medicine residency at Harvard.

Gary Naja-Riese oversees the Division's work in funding homelessness services and transforming the homeless system of care in collaboration with County departments, cities, and community partners. Gary has over 25 years of experience in public health, policy development and implementation, community organizing, training and technical assistance and public and private sector management. This includes national and international work to advance biomedical HIV prevention interventions and built environment work to transform places and empower people to reduce heart disease and stroke at San Francisco Department of Public Health. Gary has an MSW in Community Organizing and Public Policy and is also an MPH candidate at the UConn Program in Public Health.

Lisa M. Santora, MD, MPH, is the Deputy Public Health Officer for Marin County. In this position she provides clinical oversight for Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP), Communicable Disease Prevention and Control (CDPC), and Detention Health. Prior to this role, she was the Chief Medical Officer for the Beach Cities Health District (BCHD). Dr. Santora has worked in federally-qualified health centers across the country. She is a graduate of Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and completed residencies in preventive medicine and family medicine in Buffalo and Miami.
