Nick has over 20 years business management and nigh on 12 years of cross-border corporate finance experience within the ‘boutique' M&A Advisory firm setting, including strategic business disposals, MBOs, MBIs and providing wider strategic advice. In addition, Nick has advised on several private equity-backed management buy-outs and growth capital transactions. Nick hails from Cape Town South Africa and immigrated to the UK in 2006. Prior to his corporate M&A advisory experience Nick set out to follow a passion for culinary perfection and while leveraging his experience via a family business became involved in the Hospitality sector providing strategic and financial advisory services, overseeing the growth and sustainability of SME boutique hotel and restaurant groups and ultimately managing and implementing their buy and build strategies. It was this that exposed him to the world of corporate M&A. Nick has a passion for sport having represented his country of birth in both field hockey and endurance horse riding. Nowadays his sporting activities include mountain biking, skiing and golf. Nick is also an avid automotive and motor racing fan; having completed advanced drivers' courses (Porsche South Africa) he has his sights set on gaining his racing licence...at some point. When not duffing balls into bunkers or drooling over exotic racing cars Nick can be found relaxing around the braai (aka BBQ) with his young family and a glass of wine - preferably Italian.
