Broadway Children's School of Oakland is a diverse, play based community preschool located in the Adams Point neighborhood in Oakland, CA. We began in 1952 on Broadway in downtown Oakland. In 1984, our school moved to the little yellow house on Adams Street. For nearly 70 years, families have joined the Broadway community through the PACT (Parents And Children Together) program and the nursery school programs... Broadway Children's School of Oakland is a play-based preschool in Oakland, California, offering part-time (Tu/Th or M/W/F) programs for 2-year-olds and caregivers, and for 3- and 4-year olds. Child-centered learning and parent enrichment opportunities create a bedrock of support, knowledge-sharing and friendship for families... At Broadway Children's School, our programs reflect the belief that every child is unique and special, and we nurture and encourage that sense of individuality so that each child will develop within his or her own framework.
