Brett Scorza - CIO

Brett joined Inteliquent in 2004 and is responsible for product, development and information technology supporting Inteliquent's broad portfolio of solutions. Brett has a passion for working with customers to understand their use of communications products, as well as a deep understanding of technology and support systems. Leveraging these, Brett leads Inteliquent's efforts to provide customer focused, scalable, software-based solutions, which seamlessly integrate with Inteliquent's communications infrastructure. Brett has more than thirty years of software, information technology and telecommunications experience. Prior to Inteliquent, he held positions at Focal Communications, Inc., MFS Communications and Andersen Consulting. Brett received a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Brian West - CFO

Brian West serves as chief financial officer where he oversees the finance, tax and accounting functions of the organization. Prior to this position, Brian led the financial planning and analysis function of the company. Brian brings over 10 years of financial management experience in communications, having started his career at Verizon before joining Inteliquent. He received an MBA from Northern Illinois University, a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, and holds an active CMA certification.

Chandy Ghosh - COO

Chandy Ghosh leads our 911 division as general manager and chief operating officer of emergency services. Chandy's commitment to modernizing emergency communications is paving the way to advanced next generation 911 solutions across the country and providing customers and Public Safety agile and highly reliable solutions. She has served on several boards including as the chair of the Women-in-911 NENA Alliance, Colorado Women's Hall of Fame, HMG Strategy and Colorado Technology Association's Women in Technology. Capacity Media has honored Chandy with the 2020 Global Power 100 Men and Women in Carrier Telecom and the 2019 Best Woman in Technology and Wholesale Telecommunications awards. Prior to joining Inteliquent, Chandy served as executive vice president of technology at Intrado (formerly known as West Safety Services), where she ran the nationwide 911 solutions and critical infrastructure governed by the Department of Homeland Security. She has held several leadership positions specializing in customer digital strategy and global product delivery at CenturyLink, ThoughtWorks, Johnson Controls and BearingPoint (formerly KPMG). Chandy is CJIS certified and her education includes an MBA in information systems from the University of New Mexico, bachelor's and master's degrees from Jadavpur University, India, as well as leadership certificates from the Harvard Executive Development Program, the Michael Hammer school of process, and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Dr. Surendra Saboo - President

As president, Dr. Surendra Saboo leads the customer success and go to market strategy for Inteliquent. Surendra has more than 30 years of executive management experience in the communications industry. Most recently he served as co-CEO of Transaction Network Services (TNS) where he led the telecom services division. Early in his career Surendra pioneered AT&T into local services following the Telecommunications Act of 1996. He launched broadband services in six European countries while serving as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Broadnet, a pan-European subsidiary of Comcast based in Brussels. He also introduced the VoIP-based digital voice service before ending his tenure at Comcast as the vice president of voice services. Surendra holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology in India as well as a M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering from the Ohio State University. He has completed the advanced management program from the University of Hawaii.

Ed O'Hara - CEO

Ed O'Hara is the CEO for Inteliquent. He has a track record of driving growth, margin expansion, and successful mergers and acquisitions in the communications and cloud services sectors over the past 20 years. Before joining Inteliquent as chief financial officer, he served as CFO for several leading technology, media and communications businesses including Datapipe prior to its sale to Rackspace, Sidera Networks prior to its sale to Lightower, and of the residential and business services segment of RCN Corporation, prior to its sale to ABRY Partners. Ed received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.

John Bullock - CTO

As Inteliquent's executive vice president of engineering and operations, John has responsibility for the architectural design, implementation and operations of Inteliquent's IP and voice switching infrastructure. After joining the company in 2004, he built the core network from serving two markets with a few million minutes a month to now serving the entire United States and carrying billions of minutes monthly. John has over 35 years of communications experience. Prior to joining Inteliquent, he held various technical leadership roles with MCI. As vice president of engineering and implementation for MCI, he was responsible for all long distance and local switching, long haul and local transport, plus the core IP backbone infrastructure deployments. Today he serves on the board of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), a not-for-profit helping develop standards and solutions for information and communications technology. John holds a B.A. in telecommunications management from DePaul University.

Lisa Messina - VP

Lisa Messina serves as vice president of people and culture. In this role, Lisa is responsible for developing and executing human capital strategies, which define, support and enhance Inteliquent's culture. She ensures Inteliquent's employees are engaged and supported through programs and people functions including talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, as well as employee relations. Lisa brings innovative ideas designed to energize and challenge Inteliquent employees around the globe. Lisa brings over 20 years of innovative human resources experience and has built and lead HR teams at multiple organizations including Gogo, Inc., Ray Allen Inc and Medela LLC. Lisa has worked in a variety of industries and been involved in startups, acquisitions, integrations and divestitures in multi-location and global organizations. Lisa holds a B.A. in communications from Millikin University.

Mary Tuten - COO

As the chief operating officer, Mary Tuten is responsible for driving Inteliquent's positive customer experience through the optimal delivery of technical support, service delivery, account management and customer engagement. Mary joined Inteliquent as chief operating officer in April 2020 after previously serving as the chief operating officer for Voyant. She has over 25 years of successful operations experience in senior leadership positions with start-up, mid-sized and Fortune 100 companies. Mary has a wealth of expertise with purchasing, vendor management, and leading customer experience, software and network engineering teams. She has consistently leveraged her industry knowledge to develop processes, KPIs and effective reporting structures to improve the customer experience and efficiency within each team - in all of her senior management positions including the companies of Bandwidth.com, dash Carrier services and Hewlett Packard. Mary was instrumental in the strategy and execution of taking privately held, Bandwidth.com to its successful initial public offering (IPO).

Richard Monto - Chief Legal Officer

Richard Monto is our general counsel and secretary. In this role, Richard leads the Inteliquent legal department. Richard has over two decades of telecommunications law experience and has been involved in all aspects of Inteliquent's legal and regulatory matters since 2007. In addition to managing the entire legal team, Richard's responsibilities include negotiating the agreements under which we provide services to our customers, litigation, regulatory affairs at the FCC, and mergers and acquisitions. Richard also serves as our corporate secretary. Prior to Inteliquent, Richard held senior legal positions at various companies, including serving as the chief legal officer for Universal Access Global Holdings, Inc. (a Chicago-based wholesale telecommunications carrier) and at MCI, where he was responsible for the provision of legal support to MCI's largest enterprise users in the Midwest region. Richard began his legal career at Sonnenschein, Nath and Rosenthal (now known as Dentons). Richard has an undergraduate degree in Russian and Eastern European studies from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law.
