Manasa Keralam has developed a triangle model of psycho social interventions for the mental health of the people for the people and by the people. As it envisages the mental health professionals, Social workers & care givers and the affected population constitute the triangle working system. The wing of social workers/activists and care givers bridges the affected community and mental health professionals... Although, we understand the importance of advocacy, policy, and research in the mental health sector, we believe and focus our efforts on bringing direct mental health services to communities. Hence, our efforts lead us to focus on mental health education programs, intervention by medical treatment wherever required, and training local stakeholders to become community mental healthcare workers-sustaining our efforts long-term.
