Alex joined the Cutters in 2024 after spending several years working around the Minor League Baseball landscape. Alex is a 2009 graduate from Lewisburg High School, and a graduate of Lock Haven University, where he studied Sports Administration. During his time at Lock Haven, Alex also completed his first internship with the Crosscutters in 2013. Before Alex came back home to central Pa, he had stints with teams in Clinton, Iowa, Daytona Beach, Florida, Durham, North Carolina, and other markets working for minor league baseball teams as a Food and Beverage Manager. When he isn't at the ballpark, Alex enjoys bowling and playing pickleball, as well as playing video games and spending time with his family and playing with his puppies. In his role with the team, Alex oversees all food and beverage operations at Journey Bank Ballpark.

Amy Silfen

Amy is recently retired from her position as a General Manager at AT&T. She currently serves as CEO of Data Solutions Central, a certified women-owned business selling technology products to re-sellers that require minority sourcing in support of public sector entities. Amy earned her BS in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and her MBA at The Wharton School in 1988.

Bill Gehron

In his role with the team, Bill oversees all stadium operations at Journey Bank Ballpark. He has a B.S. degree in Biology from Greensboro College (North Carolina). Bill resides in Newberry with his wife Corinne. They have two grown sons, Bill and Bobby, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Brad Hooser

The 2024 season will be Brad's twenty third season in Minor League Baseball and his twentieth with the Scrappers. Before joining the Scrappers, Brad worked two seasons in the Frontier League, as the Assistant General Manager for the Canton Coyotes and Sales Coordinator / Director of Stadium Operations for the Canton Crocodiles. From 2005-2009 Brad was the Scrappers Director of Concessions. In 2010 Brad spent a season as the General Manager of Aerofare for the Akron Aeros. He then came back "home" to the Scrappers in 2011. Brad graduated from Bowling Green State University in May 2001 with a degree in Sports Marketing and a Minor in Marketing. Brad currently resides in Minerva with his wife Amy, his two daughters Avery, Carys, and their female pets.

Brady Young

After graduating from Kent State University with a bachelor's in Communication Studies, Bri moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to work for Speedway Motorsports, Inc. as the Guest Services Coordinator at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, baking and 5k's. Bri currently resides in Niles with her Havanese, Lola.

Dan Petrazzolo

  • Spikes' Assistant General Manager
Dan Petrazzolo serves as the Spikes' Assistant General Manager, a position he was promoted to in January 2015. Previously, Dan served as the Director of Ballpark Operations for the Spikes and Medlar Field at Lubrano Park since the Fall of 2006. He is in charge of all operational policies and procedures and works closely with Penn State University on all facets of the ballpark, including cleaning and preventative maintenance. Additionally, Dan serves as the club's baseball operations liaison for the MLB Draft League, including overseeing all clubhouse operations for the Spikes, handling player equipment and uniforms, managing clubhouse personnel, and working with MLB representatives as well as visiting coaching staffs. He also serves as the liasion between the Spikes and Penn State's baseball staff. Prior to coming to State College, Dan worked as Director of Operations with the Atlantic City Surf of the independent Atlantic League. While working for the Surf, the New Jersey native was named one of the "Top 40 Under 40" by Atlantic City Weekly. Dan currently resides in Bellefonte with his wife and two girls, and is a graduate of West Virginia University (where he claims to have never burned any couches). One of his special talents is his encyclopedic knowledge of professional wrestling from the mid-1980s to current. In fact, his "Macho Dan" character has been entertaining fans at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for many years.

David Castagnetti

Doug's career in Minor League Baseball began with the Geneva Cubs, in Geneva NY. He re-located with the team in the fall of 1993 to Williamsport. He was named General Manager in 1993 and Vice President/General Manager in 2008. Upon the sale of the team to the new ownership group (Cutting Edge Baseball LLC) in December of 2014, Doug continued his role as Vice President of Operations & General Manager of the team and became a limited partner in the team. He was named the New York-Penn League Executive of the Year in 2004. Doug graduated from Plymouth State College, Plymouth, NH in 1990 with a B.S. in Physical Education, and from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 1991 with an M.S. in Sports Management. He currently volunteers as a coach for multiple soccer teams including North Union United (NUU) Soccer Club in Lewisburg, and Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, is a current board member of NUU and is a past advisory board member of the Williamsport YMCA. Doug resides in Williamsport with his wife Susan, and their two sons Ty & Trevor.

Eric Hinske

Eric is the last remaining member of the original Thunder Front Office. He joined the Thunder organization in December of 1993 as the team's Director of Marketing & Merchandising. In 2001, Eric became the Executive Director of Marketing for both the Thunder and their sister team the Lakewood (now Jersey Shore) BlueClaws (Affiliate of The Philadelphia Phillies). In September of 2005, Eric was promoted to the Vice President of Marketing for both clubs and in November of 2009, he was named Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales and Sponsorships for the Thunder. He ended his affiliation with the BlueClaws after the 2017 season.

Gabe Sinicropi, Jr

Gabe's full-time baseball career began with the Geneva Cubs in 1993 and moved to Williamsport that fall when the club relocated here. Prior to that, he served in a part time role as the Public Address Announcer for the Geneva Cubs from 1985-1992. In his role, Gabe oversees all sales, marketing and promotional activities of the Crosscutters while also being in charge of game day entertainment and serving as the on-field host. Gabe has twice been named the New York-Penn League Executive of the Year (2011, 2018) and was honored with the 2014 New York-Penn League Community & Baseball Service Award. He was the recipient of the Ray Keyes Sports Award by the Lycoming County Brotherhood Alliance in 2014. Gabe was chosen to emcee the Baseball Winter Meetings Annual Banquet in 2019 and was a frequent presenter at the Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar/Innovator's Summit, including acting as seminar emcee and host of the Minor League Baseball Golden Bobblehead Awards from 2013-2018. Sinicropi has served as the Public Address Announcer for the Little League World Series™ since 1998. Gabe sits on numerous volunteer committees and serves as a board member of the Williamsport/Lycoming County Chamber of Commerce, AAA North Penn, Hope Enterprises Foundation, and Lycoming County Visitors Bureau. He has been a member of Kiwanis for over 30 years and emcees many local events and banquets. He is a former longtime board member of the Lycoming County United Way. Prior to his full-time baseball career, Sinicropi was a Program Director & Morning Air Personality for WECQ-FM (CQ102), Geneva, N.Y., from 1984-1991. Gabe resides in Williamsport and spends his free time collecting vintage toys, games, comics and baseball cards.

Greg Baroni - CEO

Greg Baroni is the CEO and Principal General Partner of Attain Sports and Entertainment, owner of the Bowie Baysox, Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, located in Bowie, Maryland, and the Frederick Keys, a collegiate summer baseball team that competes in the MLB Draft League, located in Frederick, Maryland effective January 1, 2022. As a Maryland resident of more than 30 years, he has deep roots in the region and is passionate about bringing next-level baseball experiences to the area. Greg is also the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Attain Partners. In 2009, Mr. Baroni co-founded Attain, LLC. Following the sale of Attain's Federal business division in 2021, he launched Attain Partners, with a continued-and expanding-dedication to the education, nonprofit, healthcare, and state and local government markets. Before founding Attain, Mr. Baroni held various leadership roles at Unisys Corporation, including corporate senior vice president of the company and president of its Federal Systems and Global Public Sector Unit. During his tenure, the Federal Systems group achieved extraordinary results, doubling its revenue while achieving industry standard operating margins. Previously, Mr. Baroni spent nearly 20 years at KPMG Consulting, departing the company as its senior vice president of Public Services, serving nonprofit, education, healthcare, and government clients. In this capacity, Mr. Baroni advised numerous organizations on critical business areas such as strategy, cost optimization, and distributed learning. Jeff Hurley - President

Jeff will be entering his 19th season with the Trenton Thunder and seventh as President/General Manager. A native of Hamilton, NJ, Hurley played baseball at nearby Steinert High School and was a pitcher at DeSales University in Allentown, PA graduating with a degree in Accounting before joining the Thunder front office as an intern in 2004. He was hired as a Group Sales Representative following the 2004 season and has held the titles of Media Relations Assistant, Community Relations and Baseball Operations Manager, Baseball Operations and Accounting Manager, Director of Finance and Baseball Operations and Chief Financial Officer over his years with the Thunder. In September 2015, Jeff was named General Manager/Chief Operating Office becoming the 5th in team history. Following the 2018 season Jeff was voted on by the Eastern League as Executive of the Year. In addition to his role with the Thunder, Hurley has served as a member of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Young Professionals organization since 2013. In 2017 Hurley was recognized as the Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton Young Professional of the Year voted on by his peers. Hurley also sits on the Board of Directors for the Hamilton Area YMCA, Miracle League of Mercer County, Princeton Mercer Chamber of Commerce, Central Jersey Rebels Baseball Organization, Mercer County Military Action Council and the Hamilton YMCA Advisory Council. Jeff is currently the Chair of the Princeton Mercer Convention and Visitors Bureau and is a member of the Robbinsville-Hamilton Rotary Club. Jeff is a resident of Hamilton, NJ where he lives with his wife Kacie, his sons Carson and Cameron, and their dog Maddux - who was adopted through the NorthStar Vets Dog of the Day program.

Jeffrey M. Schlerf

Named as one of the leading bankruptcy and restructuring attorneys in Delaware by Chambers USA, Jeffrey has over 25 years of professional experience relating to the financial industry, first as an economist and then as an attorney. He has represented the interests of all types of parties in many of the largest bankruptcy cases in the U.S. since the early 1990's including the representation of Major League Baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers bankruptcy proceedings. He is a member of the Mediation Panel for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and is certified as a mediator by the Delaware Superior Court.

John began his career at Trinity Packaging in 1987 and is currently responsible for all North American sales. As Executive Vice President, John has grown Trinity's Lawn & Garden division exponentially with an emphasis on form fill & seal technology and process printing. He served as Director of Ticket Sales from 2004-05. Jordan spent the previous three seasons in Corporate Marketing and Sales. Before joining the Scrappers, Jordan served as Ticketing Manager for C.K. Newcomb and Associates in Cleveland, OH. Jordan also interned with International Management Group (IMG) and worked for the Cleveland Indians. Jordan is active in the Valley; current Board Member of Trumbull 100 and past President, Board Member Niles Kiwanis and past Lt. Quentin Holmes was drafted as an outfielder 64 th overall (2 nd round) to the Cleveland Guardians in the 2017 MLB draft, and he spent 2017-2022 in the Guardians organization. Quinton McCracken

In the 1997 Major League Baseball expansion draft, McCracken was selected by the expansion Tampa Bay Devil Rays as their 2nd pick. McCracken carved out a 12-year career in MLB, recording a career .274 batting average with 359 runs scored, 244 runs batted in, 675 total hits, including 118 doubles, 32 triples, 21 homeruns, and 89 stolen bases. McCracken played in a total of 999 games between the Colorado Rockies (1995-97), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (1998-2000), Minnesota Twins (2001), Arizona Diamondbacks (2002-03), Seattle Mariners (2004), Arizona Diamondbacks (2004-05), and Cincinnati Reds (2006). Rhashan's is a special story. During the 2003 season Rhashan, who was living just behind the outfield on Memorial Avenue, started walking over to the ballpark in the mornings. He quickly made friends and started doing odd jobs during the day in order to earn a ticket for that night's game. Fast forward all these years, and Rhashan has never missed a day at the ballpark! As Director of Smiles, Rhashan is charged with making sure all fans enjoy their time here at Journey Bank Ballpark. He greets fans as they enter the gates, helps with on-field promotions, and is a big help in the office year round. Rhashan is also a cheerful presence in the clubhouse, giving pep talks to players and coaches. Rhashan was inducted into the Bowman Field Hall of Fame in January 2023. Rhashan resides in Newberry in a Hope Enterprises group home. He is a big fan of Loyalsock High School baseball and attends most all their games.

Rich Roberts - President

A long-time baseball fan, Rich is dedicated to presenting baseball as affordable family entertainment with a commitment to community engagement, customer service, innovation, and the professional development of its employees. Rich is also a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Attain Partners. He previously served as Chairman and Executive Vice President of the Global Public Services unit at BearingPoint, Inc. and formerly as the company's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his years at BearingPoint, he was a partner and the Federal Services National Industry Director at KPMG. During his 30 years at BearingPoint and at KPMG, Rich's leadership established each of the Federal market companies as preeminent businesses in the government contracting marketplace. Rich is experienced in the areas of management improvement, information systems, financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, organizational analysis, and development of accounting and organizational policies and procedures. He has extensive hands-on experience in various organizational and process improvement initiatives in both government and industry. Ron Mahay made his Major League debut in 1997 with the Boston Red Sox and spent two years with them, followed by time with the Oakland Athletics (1999-2000), Florida Marlins (2000), Chicago Cubs (2001-2002), Texas Rangers (2003-2007), Atlanta Braves (2007), Kansas City Royals (2008-2009), and the Minnesota Twins (2009-2010). Throughout his 14 year MLB career, Mahay appeared in 514 games and pitched 568 innings with a win-loss record of 27-12 and an ERA of 3.83. He recorded 470 strikeouts while allowing 266 walks. Mahay will be joining the Scrappers as their pitching coach for the 2024 season. Mahay spent time coaching in Mahoning Valley during the 2021 and 2022 Scrappers seasons.

Roxanne Polichetti

Roxie earned a master of education degree in Sport Administration from Xavier University in 2014 and a bachelor's degree in Sport Administration in 2013 from Edinboro University (PA). Zane Grimes joined the Spikes as a Ticket Sales Executive in August 2023 after serving as a Ticket Sales Associate in the summer of 2023. In his role, Zane cultivates ticketing partnerships with individuals and businesses while promoting group outings and other hospitality options at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. A native of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Zane is a 2018 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, where he starred for the baseball team, earning First Team Mid-Penn Conference honors in his senior year. Zane continued his baseball career at Lock Haven University and Harford Community College before finishing with two seasons at Ithaca College in New York, where he went 4-1 over 13 appearances, striking out 38 batters and walking 16 in 34 2/3 total innings for the Bombers. He also earned his Business Administration bachelor's degree at Ithaca, with a concentration in Sports Management.
