Dr. Ashleigh Hermann, DO, is a distinguished board-certified dermatologist at Midland Dermatology. She brings a profound dedication to patient-focused care, specializing in personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Her expertise spans across critical areas such as skin cancer treatment and excisions, along with diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions for patients of all ages. Educated at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Hermann further honed her skills during her dermatology residency at Medical City Fort Worth, where she served as Chief Resident. Before joining our team, she practiced at Baylor Scott & White Health in Waco, TX, where she continued to expand her expertise in general dermatology-specializing in skin checks, the diagnosis and treatment of various dermatological conditions, and performing skin cancer excisions. Her medical philosophy, coupled with her comprehensive training, enables her to profoundly impact her patients' lives, providing care that goes beyond skin deep. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Hermann enjoys hiking, exercising, reading, and spending time with her husband and two young children.

Katie Williamson is a certified Physician Assistant who focuses on medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she graduated with high honors. Prior to earning her PA degree, Katie grew up in Dallas, Texas. She went on to attend The University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Katie received specialized training in dermatology and regularly pursues additional knowledge through continuing medical education. She has always had a passion for dermatology and is dedicated to providing her patients with committed and personalized care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Rachel Chandler, MD, earned her Bachelor of Science in biology at Texas Tech University and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech Health Science Center. In addition, she completed her residency in dermatology at Texas Tech. Dr. Chandler is a board-certified dermatologist and practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology at Midland Dermatology.

Russell Akin, MD, RPh. FACMS, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist, as well as a board-certified and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, who specializes in skin cancer treatments and other dermatological procedures with patients ages 12 and up at Midland Dermatology. Dr. Akin chose to specialize in dermatology because it allows physicians to see and treat patients of all ages, provide surgical care, and help patients feel more confident about their appearance with cosmetic and laser services. He values the relationships he has with his patients and enjoys having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others. His care philosophy is to provide exceptional care in a friendly office environment. In addition to seeing patients at his clinic in Midland, he is also an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Fellowship Director of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. His personal interests include spending time with family and riding cow horses.
