NILES VIRTUAL SCHOOL

The Niles Virtual School is a parent led program. Parents will be expected to monitor their learners progress and cheer them along the way on their learning journey. Parents of learners in grades K-5 will need to be actively involved in assisting their learners as they navigate their courses. Older learners will need less parental involvement, but every learner needs a cheerleader and parents fill that need best. The lessons are asynchronous which means that there will NOT be a live instructor giving instruction at specific times each day. This allows learners to progress at their own pace during the semester. Some of our courses are created by our own teachers and some are course created by vendors with our teachers monitoring learner progress... We believe students and parents utilizing Niles Public Schools should have options in education and are dedicated to providing them.
