My name is Amy, nice to meet you! I grew up watching my grandmother cook amazing foods from all of the countries she had lived in during her life. She taught me everything she knew and I try to put the same care and attention into my cooking that she did. I can spend all day in the kitchen trying out new recipes, and usually slicing or burning some part of my body in the process. I have never met a recipe that I didn't tweak, and I encourage you to do the same thing. If you like an ingredient a lot, add more of it. If you don't like an ingredient, add less or use something else. Cooking is a lot more fun when you break the rules and do it your way... I stumbled upon the paleo lifestyle because I was at a point in my life where I had started feeling rundown and tired almost every day. I was nauseous a lot of the time after eating, and was getting horrible headaches. I ate a low-fat diet, counted calories, led an active lifestyle, took a daily multivitamin, and did everything I thought..
