CHILDREN'S LITERACY PROJECT

For over a decade, Children's Literacy Project (formerly BeUndivided) has been mobilizing people and communities of faith into the public schools. The result was thousands of faith communities and hundreds of thousands of volunteers moved from the pews into the schools. Today we are focused on activating volunteers to become reading mentors... For over a decade we have been at the forefront of Church/School partnership movements: 100,000+ volunteers, dozens of cities, thousands of churches… And we are just getting started... 90% of children who read by 3rd grade graduate high school while illiterate children are likely to face addictions, poverty, and crime.
