BASS LAKE PADDLE COMPANY - Key Persons
Mark Sponholz is the founder and chief paddle builder at Bass Lake Paddle Company. Raised in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Mark spent much of his youth in the stern of a yellow Old Town canoe traveling the Minnesota and Cottonwood rivers. He's paddled far north as Canada and as far south as Australia. He doesn't believe there is any place more beautiful to paddle than the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico Provincial Park, but he's always open to trying a new lake or river just to be sure.
