Bibhudatta Malik is an artist and designer from Odisha. He graduated as a fashion designer from NIFT, Bhubaneswar.

Gayatri Rath

The founders of Saptasajya Foundation, Gayatri Rath and Pravin Kumar, conceived Saptasajya Festival as a platform that allows designers, art and craft enthusiasts and casual visitors to participate in an enriching experience. One that is creatively fulfilling for all and commercially lucrative for the practising folk craftspeople. Thus, the combined efforts are directed at promoting the local creative economy.

Jyoti Ranjan Sahoo

Jyoti Ranjan Sahoo is an artist and designer. Presently pursuing his masters in visual arts. He has participated in many seminars, workshops and camps like Kalakumbh organized by NGMA, Delhi; Megha Utsav organized by Lalit Kala Academy, Paryatan Parv by Indian Tourism etc. As a designer he has been associated with many leading brands and institutions like SIDAC, NIFT, KISS etc.

Saira Afaque

Saira Afaque is a designer having 10 years of experience in handloom, handicraft and applique designs. She also works as a freelancer on various projects with many well known brands. In her illustrious career as a designer she has associated herself with many prestigious projects like designing sarees for Boyanika, working on theme pavilion for Toshali based on the age old appliqué craft of Odisha, Home Furnishing project for UTKALIKA, Applique and home furnishing project for SIDAC etc. Additionally, she is also a design educator.

Sakshi Jain

Sakshi Jain is a fashion and graphic designer by profession. With her clothing line BASISK, she is a content distribution manager for a creative agency. She has worked with companies across industries for branding, ad campaigns, content designing over the last two years of her freelancing experience and continuing to do so. Presently, she is also teaching in JD Institute of Fashion Technology Bhubaneswar as a faculty in the fashion design department. To her design is simply the beginning as it is not found in the components but in the process of becoming, a form of enquiry.

Sheela Jena

Sheela Jena is from Jharsuguda. She is an alumni of NIFD, Bhubaneswar. She has been in the fashion industry for the last 8 years. She is also an empanelled designer with DC Handicrafts and SIDAC. As a designer her inclination is more towards the practical use of it and she plans to focus on that at Saptasajya Festival 2022.

Sidharth Mohanty

Sidharth Mohanty, graduated from MSAP in 2017, worked at Design4 moved to BBSR '18, and was a part of a startup called ICN. He has experience designing & managing projects for the hospitality, commercial, and residential sectors. Been a part of the Saptasajya festival since 2019. The major ingredient in designing interior spaces is its details and Dhokra had diverse characteristics that are used in interior spaces.

Vivek Budhia

Vivek Budhia would like to introduce himself as jewelery designer, manufacturer and product developer. Under his brand Shilp Shastra, he deals with various kinds of traditional and modern yet chic jewelery which is the fusion of different cultures of India through which he tries to revive the diminishing art.
