Neuroethics Canada is a vibrant community of scientists, ethicists, health professionals, legal experts, educators, policy makers, and students who explore the ethical, legal and social implications of advances in neuroscience...
Progress in understanding the mind and brain requires concomitant examination of human values and scientific developments in an interdisciplinary forum. Neuroethics asks challenging questions of neuroscience in the context of different cultural, societal and legal spheres. The field champions the right of the individual for self-determination in health in addition to upholding principles of social justice through equal access to benefits of neuroscience. Neuroethics Canada keeps the public informed about cutting-edge neurotechnology through engaging events and initiatives, and forges connections with government, industry, and international research groups. Neuroethics promotes a vision of brain health that is diverse, inclusive, and informed by experience.
