White's Narcotic & Detector Dogs was a dream born unto a young policeman many years ago. Seeing crime and drug use run rampant on the city streets of Charleston, WV - patrolman ML White knew there had to be more to his part. After stumbling over a few articles on the art of police canine training, a spark set fire to his interest - and he began his studies of the trade in the mid 1980's... White founded the company in 1988, and now has over 30 years experience in supervising, evaluating, training and handling police canine teams. He holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from West Virginia State University, and served the city of Charleston for over three decades. Retiring at the rank of Captain, he now devotes his time to both civilian, and law enforcement training full time. He has trained many award winning canine teams across the state of West Virginia, and Ohio, - and is currently assembling AKC trial teams for the 2022 season.
