Benjamin H. Hamlet

Mr. Hamlet graduated from Norfolk Academy in 1995. Ben attended Old Dominion University on a baseball scholarship and was awarded the Wilkins-Howard Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 1999. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2002 and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia the same year. Ben has earned a reputation as a fair, but ferocious advocate for his clients. He is professionally respected by both his peers and opposing counsel for his thorough and insightful representation. Ben is an active member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Ben lives with his family in Virginia Beach. In his spare time, you can find Ben competing in an adventure race, relaxing at the beach, working out at Wareing's Gym or exploring the mountains with his family. Mr. Hamlet also serves as the race director and fundraiser for the All In All-The-Time Foundation's Annual Memorial Ruck that winds through scenic Seashore State Park and along the Oceanfront every November.

Damian U. Garcia

Damian Garcia became an attorney through an unusual route. He has served his nation as both a Sailor (USN 2001-2005) and as a Federal Employee for 12 years (2006-2018). Damian earned his Bachelor's Degree from Regent University School of Government (2009-2012) and his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law (2014-2017). This service coupled with his education led him to the Edge Law, P.C. team. Damian's areas of focus are in Family Law and Criminal Defense. As the son of divorced parents, Damian has experience with how divorce and custody matters can affect the whole family. This includes post-divorce matters related to child custody, visitation (parenting time) and support. In Criminal Defense matters, Damian has the knowledge required to make certain your rights are protected. Damian is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, Damian is a constant presence for the C.L.A.S.S. (Concerned Lawyers Advocating Spousal Safety) program sponsored by the Virginia Beach Bar Association. Damian is also an affiliated attorney with the Armed Citizen's Legal Defense Network. Kathleen M. Edge

Kathleen Edge graduated from Providence College in 1981 and then went on to graduate from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1985. Kathleen became a member of the Virginia State Bar in 1985. The founder of Edge Law, P.C., and former Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, Kathleen Edge specializes in family, criminal and traffic law. Kathleen's personal touch with each and every client resonates with the residents of Virginia Beach. Kathleen Edge has lectured at both Regent Law School and the Marshall Wythe School of Law on topics such as family law and military divorce issues. She grew up in an Army family and is now a Navy spouse. Kathleen is a member of the Virginia State Bar, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Virginia Beach Bar Association.
