My name is Anita Pearly Devaparanam and I am the owner of Pearly Imports and Exports. I was born in the beautiful island of Sri-Lanka and as a young lady migrated to Australia in 1989. During my childhood, I remember my father having a successful electronic repair business in my name. I would see advertisements for my father's business when we went to the cinemas and I remember feeling very happy and proud as a child. I have always wanted to open my own business and now after raising two children I finally have the time and opportunity to start this exciting journey.
I have over 20 years of work experience in handling high quality food products and so it was only natural that I would someday start a business which involved food. Grains and pulses are a staple ingredient in many different varieties of food across continents and cultures. I still remember my mother cooking coconut infused red lentil curry everyday for our family of 6 kids - a highly nutritious and protein rich food. Given the fact that it is loved by both the young and the old all across the world, I have chosen the Red Lentil as the first and primary product my company will export. I am very proud to be given the opportunity to be able to share this high quality Australian produce with the rest of the world so that people like you who come from many miles away can still enjoy them as much as my family and I do.
My name is Stephanie and I am Anita's daughter and also the assistant Director of Pearly Exports and Imports PTY LTD. I am very excited to be working a long side my mother who is my inspiration with regards to work ethic and passion. I look forward to providing quality products and service with a smile.
