At TORAMEGA, we go digging for the cultural resources of people, things and events hidden throughout the regions of Japan, and broadcast that information, without changing their essential qualities, to the world in a way that goes with the times and is easy for people of other countries to understand. Our mission: to have you visit Japan, experience it, and go home happy... As our first step, we established the website OH!MATSURi that introduces the festivals of Japan in several languages. There are over 100,000 temples and shrines throughout this country which hold most of the innumerable festivals that are held annually. Festivals, or "o-matsuri", or simply just "Matsuri," embody a true culture of the Japanese people that has continued endlessly through history and it is within the festival that one will find a real Japan. OH!MATSURi gathers information on each of these festivals and puts it into the form of articles and videos to bring to you the only multi-lingual festival search..
