Michael is the Director of Financial Services for our team, working internally with the team monitoring investments, reviewing client data, and researching new products and strategies.
Michael is the Director of Financial Services for our team and a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Equity Services, Inc. offering securities in Maryland. He is also insurance licensed in Maryland and Virginia. He originally joined the team in 2011 as a field financial advisor. He now works internally with the team monitoring investments, reviewing client data, and researching new products and strategies to make sure the team is providing their clients with the most up-to-date and appropriate solutions.
Mike was born and raised in Baltimore and is a graduate of St Paul's School, where he continues to be an active alumnus. He graduated from Bates College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and also studied Premedical Sciences. During high school and college, he was a two-year varsity golf captain and a four-year golf starter for Bates College. He continues to participate in Maryland's golf community, playing in amateur local and state events.
Mike previously worked as a health care finance intern at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed research internships in the Departments of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Bayview Medical Center. These research programs gave him the opportunity to become a published co-author in medical literature. Outside of the office, Mike enjoys golf, skiing, squash, guitar, fishing, and taking part in community service.

Nora is the Director of Operations with for our team, serving as an integral part of the firm's continued growth.
Nora is the Director of Operations for our team, serving as an integral part of the firm's continued growth. She joined the team in 2011 after 13 years of Portfolio Administration and Operations Management at Alex, Brown and Sons, as well as five years of Compliance Supervision at T. Rowe Price Associates. Nora graduated from College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a BA in Business Administration and Accounting. She is a credentialed member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
Nora loves the opportunity to work directly with both our business and individual clients to ensure that our team continues to have a great relationship with them. She focuses on creating the best client experience through compassionate, timely and efficient coordination of services for our clients and team members. Additionally, she coordinates the entire office, continuously improving our team's process and efficiency. Nora spends most of her free time doing athletics, playing golf or working with animals which has remained a passion of hers.

Paul is our team's President, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Equity Services, Inc. offering securities in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, District of Columbia, West Virginia, California and Pennsylvania. He is also insurance licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and North Carolina. He has been working in the financial services industry since 2006 and enjoys the opportunity that the career provides him to help others. He finds one of his most important roles to be that of an educator, helping clients, potential clients, and other advisors understand the advantages and disadvantages of the various financial planning options available. He finds joy in assisting others through the retirement planning and business succession process and the opportunity it provides him to make a difference in the lives of others. His primary focus is on the small business market, helping clients navigate the various tax reduction strategies, retirement plans, and employee benefits programs available to them.
Paul was born and raised in the Baltimore area, graduating from Calvert Hall College High School. He attended University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He continues to live in Towson with his wife Shannon the same street where he grew up. He enjoys the chance that this gives him to spend time with his and his wife's family. Although he is not an expert in either, Paul enjoys skiing and golfing. He is also actively involved in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Rosea Jones is our New Business Processor and works directly with Nora Wells (Director of Operations). She joined our team in late 2017 after working in a medical center as an Administrator in Customer Relations for 7 years. Rosea loves working in the team environment that is designed to help clients address their financial concerns while providing the highest quality service.
Currently, Rosea is Life and Health Insurance Licensed in the state of Maryland. Next she will move on to accomplishing her licensing in securities. Rosea is compassionate, helpful and alongside Nora, committed to making sure that the clients' needs as well as the team needs are met.
Rosea lives with her son and dog who both bring joy to her life. IN her spare time Rosea enjoys sewing, socializing with her book club members and taking walks with her dog (Layla).

Tadao (Ted) Okamoto, CFP® is a Financial Services Associate at Sortino Financial Group. Having interned in the office in 2012, Ted rejoined the team in 2016. He now works directly with a team of financial planners where he internally assists them doing product research and client data review.
Ted originally from the suburbs of New York City, went to boarding school at Pomfret High School in Connecticut where he was the varsity football captain. He attended Bates College in Maine receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Ted loves watching football, playing basketball and attempts to play golf when he has the chance.
