During the 70's, milk from the poor producers was procured by the Barauni Creamer through vendors engaged by Dairy Co-operative Societies (DCS) which were organized & functioning on the conventional system till 1973-74, the system continued under the aegis of the Dairy Development Department of the govt. of Bihar.
