Mr. Cox is general counsel to Auto Data Direct, the largest provider of real time motor vehicle registration and title data for insurance, banking, and impound firms in the United States. He is in charge of all legal, contract and governmental affairs for the company. In 1992, Mr. Cox founded Cox and Burns, in Tallahassee to focus on civil litigation representing plaintiffs. In 2012, he founded Law Offices of Robert Cox to assist clients and other firms as a consulting attorney. He is of counsel to Parks and Crump, LLC and participates in many of that firm's civil rights cases. Bob Cox was born in Fort Myers, Florida, in 1952 and is a sixth generation Floridian. He attended the University of South Florida. He has three children and three grandchildren.
