Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Abraham completed his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Chicago. He later attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He underwent his residency training at Lincoln Hospital in New York City, where he also served as the chief resident in his final year... After his residency, Dr. Abraham moved to Rochester, New York, where he operated a private practice specializing in internal medicine until 2005. During this time, he also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry from 1980 to 2005. In 1978, he took a week-long course in Rochester under the guidance of the eminent Dr. James Cyriax, a prominent figure in orthopedic medicine. In 2005, he shifted his practice to New York City, narrowing his focus solely to sports medicine and orthopedics...
