STAGBI is also the Government-approved Passport Issuing Organisaton (PIO) responsible for implementing the UK Government's Equine Identification Regulations... With the first of these two roles, STAGBI is the recognised Standardbred Breed Society for the UK and is represented as such by the International Trotting Association on a global stage.
