Korn Architects was founded in Germany 1995 in Frankfurt a.M. with a focus on high-profile design by Axel Korn, following 3 years of practice with Frank O. Gehry Inc. / California as architect for the new Philharmonic Concert Hall in Los Angeles and other projects. Since 1996 the main branch operates in Berlin / Germany with projects mainly in northern Germany and the Netherlands. Due to close working relationship with MAB Groep B.V., the design focus shifted to shopping centers and inner city redevelopment projects. Since 2000 the office is active in the south-east Asian region due to the rapid development of new urban centers and a high demand for design to international standards...
