The law firm was originally established in Gary, Indiana in August 1986 as the firm of King & Meyer. James B. Meyer and Scott L. King, having worked together as Lake County prosecutors and as Assistant United States Attorneys, combined their individual experiences, talents, reputations and energy, to build their law firms in Gary by 1987.
