Chris Lockhart Smith

Chris Lockhart Smith holds the qualification, Master of Sustainable Built Environment (with excellence) from the University of New South Wales. In addition, he has Certificate IV qualifications in Business Sustainability Assessments and NatHERS Assessment as well as qualifications in Environmental and Management System Auditing from Global Exemplar. He has also worked as a sessional academic in the Built Environment faculty at UNSW for the last six years. In 2019, Chris was selected to train as a Scorecard Assessor as part of the NSW Governments pilot scheme, and has since undertaken assessments throughout NSW. As the auditor for the Low Carbon Living program in the Blue Mountains, initiated by the Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute and CRC for Low Carbon Living, Chris has assessed several iconic businesses in the area. Chris has also had an extensive career as a professional orchestral cellist holding a BMus & Post Graduate Diploma from Griffith University.
