Rose Wilson has spent the last 30 years of her career in healthcare. In elementary school, while visiting a facility that served those with developmental disabilities, Rose discovered her passion for caring for others. The opportunity to be of service, and spread love and joy was something that she would always pursue. In high school, Rose volunteered as a Candy Striper at the V.A hospital where she especially enjoyed transporting and reading to patients. Early in her career, she became a trained direct support professional, teaching residents life skills that would prepare them for independent living.
It was not until her grandmother became ill, spending the last 6 months of her life in a nursing facility that Rose decided to dedicate her life to serving the elderly. With a strong desire to provide residents with the highest quality of care while maintaining their dignity, Rose became a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to do just that.
Rose brings over 20 years of experience as a GNA and Nursing Coordinator to the Lisa Vogel Agency. She continues to work at several nursing facilities as a GNA, which she loves most. In her spare time, she enjoys quality time with family, reading, watching a good movie, event planning, balloon art, and vacationing.
Tim Bayer has been helping others since he was in high school, when he worked at an assisted living and hospice facility. That caring spirit carried through to college, where he studied psychology and began working as a counselor in a residential rehabilitation facility for adults with psychiatric diagnoses. In 2002, Tim began working as a psychiatric technician at Sheppard Pratt Health System, spending time in various units, including the Geropsychiatric and Geriatric Neuro Units. He ultimately chose to work with adult patients with trauma disorders. Inspired by the work and encouragement of those around him, Tim chose to pursue a nursing degree and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2012.
When Tim saw the care and time everyone at The Lisa Vogel Agency put in to meeting the needs of clients, he knew it was a place people could trust.
Tim, who has been working as a registered nurse with the agency since 2014, hopes that his easy-going nature relaxes patients. "I want clients to feel at ease when I come to their home," he said.
