The term "carpenter" is a blanket term for the numerous skills performed by the members of the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council. Throughout its history the union has developed many specialty crafts. The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council offers every member continuing and developmental training in all of these specialties. Many members are proficient in numerous crafts.
