Welcome to the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences (DMCS) at Rutgers University, where we are exploring critical processes on this ocean planet. Faculty and students in DMCS are working all over the world, traveling from the tropical to the polar seas on scientific expeditions. Our undergraduate students are essential members of our research teams.
