The Field of BMCB is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive training and research environment for all students. We work closely with the Graduate School Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement to provide an inclusive and holistic approach to graduate scholar success... While the techniques and principles of "biochemistry", "molecular biology", and "cell biology" underlie much of the basic and applied research in modern biology and in medicine, research in BMCB labs goes well beyond the methodologies implied by these terms. The research in the Field of BMCB focuses on quantitative and mechanistic investigations that aim to elucidate the fundamental processes common to all cells and organisms... Our graduate community is made up of committed, enthusiastic researchers who are expanding knowledge about biological processes, as well as educating and inspiring others in regard to scientific inquiry.
