Greater Franklin was established in 1998 by a group of local business people in an effort to strengthen economic development in the greater Franklin County area. Our goal is to create and retain quality employment opportunities in Franklin County by attracting new businesses, assisting local employers, and encouraging entrepreneurship. We are a nonprofit organization that receives funding annually through private businesses and investors, including financial institutions... Greater Franklin's mission is to attract and assist businesses and entrepreneurs by advocating for, promoting, and collaborating on initiatives that support a sustainable and thriving community... Greater Franklin's vision is to enhance the quality of life in Western Maine by fostering a vibrant economy where opportunities abound.
