KNOLL COTTAGE

Knoll Cottage is situated at Coldwell End, Youlgrave on the side of a limestone dale with its magnificent views and sounds. The dale itself is an unspoilt site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and is populated by wonderful plants and birdlife. In the bottom of the wooded dale, the river flows through a series of trout ponds; along its banks and on the surrounding hills are wonderful walks - the dale forms part of the beautiful Limestone Way and is a continuation of Lathkilldale. The area is ideal for walking - either more gentle walks on the level along the river or more challenging, energetic ones striding over the hills... Wonderful, traditional, cosy cottage nestled into the side of one of the loveliest dales in the White Peak, Derbyshire. Ideal for a walking holiday, as an artist's or photographer's base or just for plain relaxation.
