e- Filaments supplies 99.9% Iridium wire & foil in a wide variety of sizes. Iridium wire and foil can be formed to your required dimensions and a Thoria or Yttria coating can be applied if desired. Other precious metals available include Palladium, Platinum, Rhodium, and Gold. We also offer precious metal alloys. Wire, foil/sheet, tubing, and custom forming of all precious metals and alloys are available. Varieties of the foil/sheet cut include thin foils, blanked discs and washers, slit tape (down to 1.0 mm wide), flattened wire, and thick discs and rectangles. Precious metal wire can be wound and spot welded for various filament assemblies. Iridium and Tungsten replacement filament assemblies for nude ionization gauges as well as custom filament assemblies are also available. We also offer rebuilding service for Nude ion gauges, ion sources, and many other vacuum related instruments.
