Alina Golant

The Membership Committee assists in the recruitment of new members and the retention of existing members. To accomplish these goals the committee works to build awareness of FIASI across the industry and is undertaking a series of initiatives to improve the value of the organization to its current base. Neworking also falls under the perview of the Membership Committee. ALINA GOLANT, CFA, is a senior fixed income strategist and is a specialist in high yield credit. With 20 years of experience in fixed income research, Alina offers deep expertise in credit analysis and has strong knowledge of a variety of industries, including energy, energy transition, basics, airlines, shipping, among others. Currently, Alina leads high yield research for the UBS Chief Investment Office Americas. In her role, Alina provides recommendations in bonds and preferred securities and advances CIO's high yield strategy. Alina joined UBS in February 2021. Prior to her role at UBS, she worked in sell-side research at BNP Paribas, Barclays, and Scotiabank, providing investment recommendations and trade ideas to clients and the trading desk. Alina is a CFA Charterholder since 2009 and is a member of the CFA Institute, New York Society of Security Analysts, and Fixed Income Analysts Society (FIASI). She chairs FIASI's membership committee and holds the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Alina graduated magna cum laude from New York University's Stern School of Business, majoring in finance and honors economics and was the winner of the Jules B. Backman prize in economics. Outside of work, Alina is an avid skier and enjoys hiking, boating, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Anupam Damani

Anupam is a portfolio manager for Nuveens global fixed income team and heads the international and emerging markets blend sector team, which selects non-U.S. credit securities for all products. Anupam is also a member of the Investment Committee, which discusses and debates investment policy for all global fixed income products.
